Bernardo is a Principal with the Energy Infrastructure team based out of Mexico City covering the Americas. He is responsible for monitoring and enabling the business plan execution across portfolio companies, as well as the execution of all investing activities. Bernardo was most recently involved in the investment, recapitalization and divestment of Saavi Energia, a Mexican gas-to-power platform fundamental to support the energy transition in the country. Before joining Actis, Bernardo worked as a Vice President for Nexxus Capital, a leading generalist Mexican Private Equity firm. Bernardo holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
