Michael Kumar Bio

Michael Kumar joined Access Holdings in 2025 and is a Vice President on the Investment Team. As a member of the Investment Team, Michael supports the firm’s thesis development, origination, execution, and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining the firm, Michael spent approximately 7 years in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Access Holdings, Michael was a Senior Associate at KPS Capital Partners, where he focused on transaction diligence and execution for deals across US, Europe and Asia. Prior to that, Michael was an investment banking analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Credit Suisse, where he focused on transactions in the global Paper, Packaging & Forestry market. Michael holds a BS in Finance & Economics from New York University.
