Matt Barker Bio

Matt joined 3i in May 2010 and focuses on the origination, execution and asset management of core and core-plus infrastructure investments. He is responsible for 3i Infrastructure plc’s investments in Wireless Infrastructure Group, TCR and Tampnet. Previously he was involved in the investments in Eversholt Rail Group and AWG, through to their respective disposals. Matt was also part of the team responsible for 3i Group’s acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management. Prior to joining 3i, Matt worked in the infrastructure funds business of Macquarie, with a focus on airport investments. Matt holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
