John Cavill Bio

John is a Partner in 3i's Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in November 2013. He is responsible for asset management of greenfield and operational infrastructure projects, as well as the fund management of a number of 3i’s private infrastructure funds. He works closely with portfolio board directors and Infrastructure Managers Limited, the business’s main SPV management services provider. John is also on the Boards of Cross London Trains and Wireless Infrastructure Group. Previously, John was a Director at Barclays Infrastructure Funds, St Modwen Properties, Land Securities and Vinci. Earlier in his career he worked for Arup. John has a Geography Degree from the University of Liverpool, an MSc in Transport Planning & Economics from the University of Cardiff and an MBA from Cass Business School.
