Big Sky Farms was established in 1995 by four local businessmen and was one of the pioneers of the multi-site production model now in use throughout North America. Between 1995 and 1999, Big Sky designed and built three 3000 sow multi-site production units. In 2000, Big Sky set another first with the development of Canada’s first 6000 sow multi-site production unit in Ogema, Saskatchewan.
