Newell Blair joined Whitehall in 2019 as a Vice President and is involved in both investment banking and capital markets functions. Mr. Blair has worked in a variety of roles in conventional and renewable power including for an independent power producer as well as in investment banking advisory and the debt side covering both business development and asset management functions. Before joining Whitehall, he worked in business development at Osaka Gas USA, an independent power producer, with a primary focus on corporate and asset-level M&A in conventional and renewable power. His prior experience also includes buy- and sell-side M&A and project finance advisory at Merit Capital Advisors, a power-focused investment banking advisory practice, and portfolio management at the Department of Energy Loan Guarantee Program.
