Andrew advises clients across the insurance sector but spends most of his time working with retail and wholesale insurance brokers and MGAs/program managers. Select recent transactions include advising HGGC on its acquisition of PCF Insurance, CopperPoint Insurance Companies on its acquisition of Alaska National, Service Group on its sale to IAS, ClearView Risk Holdings on its sale to The Amynta Group, and Propel Insurance on its partnership with Flexpoint Ford. Prior to joining Waller Helms Advisors, Andrew was a member of the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance Group at Macquarie Capital in New York. While at Macquarie, Andrew executed leveraged acquisitions and recapitalizations for financial sponsor clients across a variety of industries, including insurance distribution and services. Andrew began his investment banking career at Fox-Pitt Kelton, where he focused on the insurance sector. Andrew graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from St. Lawrence University.
