Nicholas Sanchilli is a Director at Union Gaming and leads the firms’ special situations practice. Prior to joining Union Gaming, Mr. Sanchilli spent 7 years with Houlihan Lokey advising clients on special situation transactions in both the US and Internationally, including several landmark transactions in Asia-Pacific and multiple complex corporate restructurings in the US. During his tenure at Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Sanchilli was part of the founding team responsible for the firms’ expansion of restructuring operations in Asia-Pacific through the establishment of an office in Singapore. Since joining Union Gaming, Mr. Sanchilli has advised on a number of high-profile transactions, including the 13e-3 take-private of Empire Resorts (NYSE: NYNY), strategic board advisory for MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM), and restructuring of New Cotai ($850mm+ US Chapter 11 and holding company for Macau Studio City (NYSE: MSC)), as well as a number of high profile capital markets transactions representing in excess of $5bn. Mr. Sanchilli graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a dual degree in business administration and accounting.
