Bio

Marina Natale was born in Saronno (Varese) on 13th May 1962. She holds a degree in Business Economics from the Cattolica University of Milan. She started her career in the Research and Planning department of UniCredit Group (then Credito Italiano) in January 1988, where she has worked to the development of a monitoring tool based on Italian banks' financial statements and co-operated with Bank of Italy in establishing a risks analysis system for Italian banking sector. In 1991 she moved to the Planning and Control department, where she has been responsible for a series of projects including the internal control and ALM systems implementation and the overall budgeting set-up and running. In October 1997 she was appointed as Head of the Group M&A and Business Development department, managing the M&A operations of the Group and being responsible for more than 50 transactions. In particular, she has been responsible for the combination with HVB Group and the merger with Capitalia, overseeing all integration/reorganization processes that followed. In July 2008 she was appointed Head of Private Banking Division with the Group title of Senior Executive Vice President. Since May 2009 she has been Chief Financial Officer and Manager charged with preparing company's financial reports and she has been also Member of UniCredit Group Executive Management Committee.
