Steven McCarty is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Firm's Board of Directors. He is leader of the Corporate Finance and PEO groups, as well as an active member of the National Manufacturing Practice. Even with these leadership responsibilities, Steve’s passion is working strategically with middle market entrepreneurs. Since joining the firm in 1992, Steve has consulted on numerous business transactions, advising on both buy-side and sell-side, providing due diligence, financial analysis, tax strategies, negotiations, valuations, and financing. He manages a group of professionals dedicated to delivering comprehensive audit, tax, and business consulting services to middle-market clients. Additionally, he advises clients on costing and estimating, corporate controls, and operations, and guides businesses on how to operate more efficiently and profitably. Steve works diligently to identify like-minded CPA firms around the country to integrate into our growing national practice. He is instrumental in developing new service lines and expanding existing practice areas to better serve our growing client base. Steve is a regular speaker and author of cutting-edge tax strategies, operational excellence, and best in class corporate controls, and contributes on topics such as corporate security, sell-side transactions, and state and local tax issues.
