Michael Hughey is a senior Director at TripleTree focused on the healthcare services and technology segments of the firm’s advisory practice. His areas of specialty include managed care, care delivery, payer-provider collaboration, technology-enabled payer services, and pharmacy and pharmacy benefit management. Prior to joining TripleTree, Michael was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he was an Associate Partner in the firm’s Healthcare Payer and Provider practice. He supported dozens of healthcare companies in addressing their most critical performance issues, with topics spanning strategy, operations, and organization. Michael received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. from Texas A&M University.
