Bio

Previously, James was the Managing Director and Head of Montgomery & Co.’s Media practice. His professional experience includes both investment banking and operating experience within the Digital Media sector. Prior to joining Montgomery & Co. in March 2005, James was a member of the Internet and Digital Media investment banking group at Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco. Before joining Thomas Weisel Partners, he was a Director at Moviso LLC (later acquired by Infospace), a leading provider of mobile media, in Los Angeles. Previously, he worked in the investment banking groups at Bear, Stearns & Co. and CIBC Oppenheimer. James received his MBA from the University of Chicago, where he was a Ewing Marion Kauffman intern, and has a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
