Prior to joining TAP, Mr. Chefetz was a Managing Director in the Consumer Group at Cowen, based in New York. Mr. Chefetz began his career with Drexel Burnham Lambert's Corporate Finance Group. Following business school, Mr. Chefetz joined Smith Barney's Consumer & Retail banking practice. In 1999 Mr. Chefetz left Smith Barney’s successor, Citigroup, to become an original Partner of Thomas Weisel Partners and head its Consumer & Retail banking practice. At the sale of TWP to Stifel in 2010, Mr. Chefetz joined the Consumer & Retail practice at Lazard Middle Market. Mr. Chefetz had been the lead advisor or underwriter for leading consumer facing clients including ACE Cash Express, Ambassadors International, American Safety Razor, Atkins, Bare Escentuals, Blue Nile, Boston Omaha, Brandless, BrightFarms, Build-A-Bear, Buy.com, Cache, Caribou Coffee, Casual Male Big & Tall, Collectors Universe, Discount Auto Parts, Dollar Tree Stores, GIII Apparel, Genesco, Gracious Home, Kiss My Face, MarineMax, Nutrisystem, Orbitz, Peet’s Coffee, Pier 1, Priceline, Proffitt's, Revolution Foods, Saatva, Select Comfort, ShoeDazzle, Staples, The Shade Store, Under Armour, US Auto Parts, Winebow, Wynn Resort, Yeti, YogaWorks and Zappos. Mr. Chefetz graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Chefetz received a Masters of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
