Brian Williamson, Director of Pharmacy & Healthcare, uses his expertise in the sterile pharmaceutical compounding industry to help business owners and senior leaders maximize the value in their businesses. As a former founder, owner and operator of a nationally recognized sterile compounding pharmacy and FDA-registered 503B Human Drug Outsourcing Facility, Williamson gained the real-world, hands-on experience that is vitally important to assist other firms in executing financial and quality strategies for success. Brian successfully sold his sterile pharmaceutical compounding firm, JCB Laboratories, in 2014. One of the biggest mistakes he admits he made was not retaining the help of professional investment bankers to help with the process. He now advises business owners that using “do-it-yourself” financial and regulatory readiness is often the best way to leave significant money on the table when closing day comes. Brian is also Managing Director for The Williamson Rockers Group (WRG). WRG is a consulting firm that helps peers and colleagues in the sterile compounding industry achieve and maintain regulatory compliance. WRG brings an owner’s mentality to its consulting engagements. Brian has a B.S. in Biology from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, a B.S. in Pharmacy from The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA.
