Gregg Byers is a Managing Director and Head of Baird’s Energy Group based in Houston. Gregg came to Baird from PwC Corporate Finance where he was the Co-Head of the Houston office and led the firm’s Oilfield Services Investment Banking practice. Prior to PwC he was at J.P. Morgan where he served as the head of North American Oilfield Services Investment Banking Coverage and M&A. During his Investment Banking tenure he has executed +$25bn of M&A transactions and a further +$30bn of equity and debt capital raising transactions for middle market and large-cap clients across various segments within the Energy Services and Diversified Industrials sectors. Gregg earned his M.B.A. in Finance, Accounting and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University.
