Giles is a Partner and the Managing Director of the Portico London office based in the UK. Giles joined Portico in 2012 and leads the UK-based team in all transactions across Europe. Throughout his career, Giles has worked on numerous disposals, mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, hostile takeovers, and defences. Prior to joining Portico, Giles worked for 13 years at Lazard where he was a key leader in the firm’s media and merger & acquisition practices. Giles holds a BS Hons in Economics and Econometrics from Nottingham University.
