Ivan Brockman is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in San Francisco. Prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Brockman spent seven years with Blackstone’s technology advisory practice in Silicon Valley, opening the firm’s office there in 2008. Mr. Brockman has over 20 years of experience advising companies, financial sponsors, and VCs in all sectors of technology. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Brockman was co-head of West Coast Technology Investment Banking for Citigroup, and led the firm’s global investment banking business in enterprise systems and software. Prior to Citigroup, he was a Vice President with Goldman Sachs’ TMT investment banking group and led the firm’s client relationships in software and electronics supply chain. He also practiced corporate and securities law for several years with the technology-focused firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Brockman received a BS with distinction in Genetics from Cornell University and a JD from University of Pennsylvania Law School.
