Ryan Mitchell is a managing director in the diversified industrials & services investment banking group. Previously, Mitchell was head of BB&T Capital Markets’ commercial & industrial investment banking group, which provided M&A sell-side advisory services to private equity groups and their portfolio companies. He worked at BB&T Capital Markets for nearly 20 years. Prior to BB&T Capital Markets, he worked at Harris Williams & Co. Mitchell graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from Vanderbilt University.
