Bio

Mr. Blake is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. Based in New York, he is part of the Firm’s Global Industrials team and leads PWP’s Automotive & Mobility franchise. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Blake spent over 19 years at Citigroup (and its predecessor companies) in both New York and Chicago. Mr. Blake served as Managing Director in the Global Industrials Group at Citi and was the Co-Head of the Global Automotive franchise. Mr. Blake has been involved, in a leading role, in a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and restructuring transactions for automotive companies and financial sponsors globally. His clients include automotive OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, auto-tech companies, selected commercial vehicle and machinery companies, and related service providers. Recent transaction highlights include advising Garrett Motion in connection with the company’s chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization; advising the Supervisory Board of PSA in connection with its merger with FCA; advising General Motors on its $2.3 billion divestiture of its European Business; advising Intel on its $14.7 billion acquisition of Mobileye; advising ZF Friedrichshafen on its $13.5 billion acquisition of TRW Automotive; advising FountainVest Partners on its sale of Key Safety Systems; and advising Lear on multiple transactions including the $850 million acquisition of Eagle Ottawa. Before attending graduate school Mr. Blake worked at Arthur Andersen as a due diligence consultant where he covered financial sponsors focused on middle market leveraged buyouts. Mr. Blake holds a B.B.A in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an M.B.A with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
