Bio

Mr. Koray is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the consumer and retail sectors. Mr. Koray has more than 19 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Mondelez on its Joint Venture with DE Master Blenders; Henkel on its acquisition of Sun Products; Altria on its equity stake sale in SABMiller to ABInBev; and Estee Lauder on its acquisition of Deciem. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in October of 2013, Mr. Koray was at J.P. Morgan from 2002 to 2013, where he most recently served as an Executive Director responsible for covering a broad range of clients in the consumer and retail industries on M&A and capital raising activities. Mr. Koray began his career as an Analyst working at McKinsey & Co. At J.P. Morgan, he focused on large M&A and equity capital market transactions, advising Altria on its acquisition of U.S. Tobacco; InBev on its acquisition of Anheuser-Busch and subsequent acquisition of Grupo Modelo; Coty on its Initial Public Offering; and Office Max on its merger of equals with Office Depot. Mr. Koray earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University in Turkey and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
