Ariel has over 14 years of of investment banking experience in the metals & mining sector. Prior to joining NRG Capital Partners, Ariel was a Director in Macquarie Capital’s London office for 5 years covering a range of clients from the global major mining companies to the junior and mid-cap space. Before Macquarie Capital, Ariel spent the prior 9 years working at RBC Capital Markets initially in the Mergers & Acquisitions team in Toronto before moving to London in 2006 to join the Metals & Mining sector team. Ariel has worked on a range of advisory assignments including M&A, strategic advisory and capital raising (debt, equity and mezzanine financing) across most metals sub-sectors (precious, base, bulks, niche metals / diamonds). Ariel is a graduate from the University of Toronto holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialist in finance and economics.
