Ramona Shenoy has around 16 plus years’ experience in senior management roles in hedge funds in the Bay Area. She is a seasoned non-investment professional specializing in business operations, HR and people management, finance, legal and compliance. From 2006 to 2018 she worked at Ascend Capital, LLC one of the larger long/short hedge funds in the bay area, where she was the Director of Operations, responsible for all non-investment functions. Prior to that from 2003 to 2006 she was the Chief Operating Officer at Descartes Capital, LLC a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. She has also held senior management positions at Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai.
