Over 25 years of experience in emerging markets in both investment banking and asset management. He began his career with J.P. Morgan where he spent 16 yeas across all investment banking products in Latin America, Africa and emerging Europe. Prior to that, Mr. Akwei led The Rohatyn Group’s efforts to invest in private equity transactions in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, and a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from the University of Michigan.
