Bio

Robert Lee is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and is based in New York. Mr. Lee joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division working in the firm's Financial Institutions Group and Power and Utilities Group in Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Lee was based in London as a member of the Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP) European investment team. Mr. Lee relocated to New York in 2010 where he focused on investments in the energy sector as a member of the MSCP North American investment team, prior to joining Morgan Stanley Energy Partners (MSEP) upon its inception as a separate investing team in 2015. Mr. Lee currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Sterling Energy, a MSCP portfolio company, and Presidio Petroleum and Durango Midstream, both MSEP portfolio companies. He has lectured and tutored accounting, finance, and strategy at the University of New South Wales and the University of Oxford. Mr. Lee received a B.Com., with first class honors in Accounting, and an L.L.B. from the University of New South Wales, and an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford (Worcester College).
