Stan Lai is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Lai was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Private Placements at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mr. Lai oversaw a leading and diversified private capital advisory platform where he originated, structured and executed a wide variety of privately negotiated equity, mezzanine, structured securities and illiquid portfolio monetization transactions for public and private clients across all sectors. Prior to that, he worked within the Private Funds Placement Group at Merrill Lynch. Previously, Mr. Lai was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers and was a member of the Restructuring Practice at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Lai holds an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
