Rob Flachs is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Flachs was most recently a Managing Director in the Restructuring & Recapitalization Group at Jefferies & Company. Mr. Flachs was part of a core team that advised on over 125 transactions representing nearly $200 billion. While at Jefferies, Mr. Flachs specialized in advising companies and creditors in recapitalizations, in-court and out-of-court restructurings, financings and distressed M&A in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Flachs was an attorney at both Guth Rothman & Christopher and Irell & Manella. Mr. Flachs graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
