Bio

Michele Miyakawa is a Managing Director and one of the founding partners of Moelis & Company. She specializes in advising high growth consumer companies regarding capital raises and strategic alternatives including mergers and acquisitions. She has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry as both a banker and an executive, leading multiple banking and management roles at Moelis & Company including COO of Global Advisory. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, she worked at UBS Investment Bank where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other equity and debt transactions. Prior to UBS, Ms. Miyakawa was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Ms. Miyakawa holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. She also served as a Board Member of the Hollywood Hills West Council and as a Director at the Children’s Bureau of Southern California Foundation. Ms. Miyakawa currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pacific Mercantile Bancorp.
