Bio

Matt Hughes is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Hughes has over 15 years of corporate finance experience with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive buy-side and sell-side experience across a range of industries, offering perspective from both sides of table in public and private transactions. Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2013, Mr. Hughes spent six years at Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. Previously, he held various positions at Merrill Lynch and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi in investment banking and corporate finance. Mr. Hughes holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
