Bio

Andrew Postal represents buy-side and sell-side clients across a broad spectrum of consumer products industries, including the apparel, footwear, accessories, home textiles, watch and jewelry sectors. He provides investment banking, strategic and financial advisory services to owners of privately and publicly owned businesses through mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, divestitures, strategic alliances, operational restructurings, valuations, and business model analysis. His M&A experience includes cross-border transactions, with a special emphasis on Asia-based acquirers. Beyond M&A, he has advised on Section 363 bankruptcy sales. Prior to joining MMG Advisors in 1999, Andrew served for more than 15 years as President of Judy Bond, where he managed the company’s finances as well as six factories in four countries, diversified the company’s sourcing and manufacturing capabilities throughout the Caribbean Basin and Asian markets, and extended the brand’s distribution beyond department stores to include specialty stores and mass merchandisers. He also formerly served as Trustee of Caribbean Latin American Action, a nonprofit industry trade group, and as Chairman of that group’s Apparel and Haiti task forces. Andrew began his career as an attorney in Washington, DC, serving as counsel to the Church Committee of the US Senate. He later practiced law with Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he specialized in commercial litigation and M&A cases. Andrew holds a JD from Georgetown University and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
