As Chairman, CEO, and founder of MJC Partners, Mr. Cavallaro is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment bank, MJ Capital Partners, LLC, and its affiliate, MJ Capital Management, LLC. In his role as a Founder and Managing Partner at MJC Partners, LLC, Mr. Cavallaro specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and capital advisory for financial institutions. He has extensive experience successfully structuring, negotiating and executing numerous M&A transactions over the course his career. He has been involved in several capital raises with a focus on the issuance of equity through private placements and debt and equity instruments. Mr. Cavallaro also serves as a Managing Partner of MJ Capital Management, LLC. Before founding MJC Partners in 2014, Mr. Cavallaro was a Director at FIG Partners, a full-service broker/dealer specializing in financial institutions. Prior to FIG Partners, he led the West Coast operations for investment bank Hovde Financial Inc., and its FINRA member securities platform, Hovde Securities, LLC. In his role at Hovde, Mr. Cavallaro was responsible for providing M&A services and public offerings of equity and debt for financial institutions across the United States. Mr. Cavallaro began his career with Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, a national investment banking firm focused on financial institutions. A native of Corning, NY, Mr. Cavallaro is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual degree in Finance and Financial Economics. He is also licensed as a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds the following licenses: Series 7, 24, 63, and 79.
