Michael Fitzgerald is a Managing Director who works with clients to identify value drivers and maximize the performance of their businesses, whether they’re considering a sale now or in the future. For over 30 years Mike has advised on public and private transactions representing more than $1 Billion in value across numerous industries, including insurance & financial services; education; telecommunications & media; and business services. As a former CEO of several successful middle market companies, Mike brings his direct operating experience to each transaction. Prior to joining MidCap, Mike was responsible for mergers and acquisitions at Modern Holdings, Inc., a middle market holding company. Mike serves on the board of NEMC, a MidCap direct investment, as well as Innova Claims Management LLC and Lors Photography, Inc. He has been an active volunteer in local educational and youth athletic organizations in New York City for over 20 years. Mike is a graduate of Brown University with an A.B. in English, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University.
