As an Executive Vice President at Metropolitan Capital, Scott Cohen works closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, and their companies to help them navigate periods of transition and capitalize on growth opportunities. Whether helping investors secure financing for non-traditional projects, generating liquidity for owners of privately held stock, or raising capital for businesses looking to strengthen their capital stack or make an acquisition, Scott is dedicated to delivering creative solutions to clients with unique financial needs. Scott originally joined Metropolitan Capital in 2010 and gained valuable experience with the Commercial Banking and Investment Banking groups. After three years in Chicago, Scott moved to New York City to join the Private Client Group of Gerstein Fisher, an investment management firm. Scott rejoined Metropolitan Capital in 2014 and moved to San Francisco to help launch the West Region office before moving to Los Angeles to develop the Bank’s presence in Southern California. In late 2021, Scott and his family moved back to Chicago.
