Andrew Carolus is a managing director in Mesirow Financial’s Investment Banking group. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the aerospace and defense, and diversified industrial sectors. With more than 21 years of investment banking experience, Andrew is a well-known and highly regarded professional in the industry. He joined Mesirow Financial Investment Banking in 2010 to help develop the group’s coverage of the aerospace and defense sector. Previously, Andrew was with the Chicago offices of Credit Suisse and BMO Capital Markets with a focus on the aerospace, defense and diversified industrials sectors. He began his career in the mergers and acquisitions group of UBS Investment Bank in New York. Andrew is a member of the President’s Council for The Museum of Science and Industry and a member of the Board of Directors for Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. He is actively involved in his alma mater, and leads recruiting activities at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Andrew earned a BS in Engineering (Aerospace) and an MBA from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with distinction.
