Joe joins MLC in Europe with over 17 years experience in investment banking and strategy consulting. He also has 6 years experience in chemical engineering in the UK and USA. Joe has worked with and advised a wide range of private and public companies, across a number of industry sectors and primarily across Europe. During the last few years, Joe created and founded LVV Capital which is a European-based boutique advisory services network with core member firms in Dublin, London and Düsseldorf. Joe advises growth companies in telecom, technology and supply chain services directly and with other LVV Capital members across Europe. Prior to this, Joe opened and grew the London office of a Dublin-based growth capital investment banking boutique working with telecom and technology companies in the UK and Europe. Joe also spent three years at Deutsche Bank, and as a Vice President, he was instrumental in building the European team for Deutsche Bank Alex Brown’s private capital advisory practice. In this role he advised small and mid-cap growth companies in various European jurisdictions across a range of sectors including software, semiconductors, telecom, renewable energy and life sciences as well as cross-selling to and working with Deutsche Bank professionals across Europe. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Joe worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and KPMG Corporate Finance in London. He focused primarily in; mainstream corporate finance learning, practicing mergers and acquisitions, financing origination and execution work for public companies across UK and Europe. Joe built his early advisory career at the LEK Partnership in London working as a team member on strategy consulting assignments primarily for UK-based FTSE100 clients. Joe received a BAI undergraduate degree in mechanical and manufacturing engineering and a BA in mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, an MBA from the Wharton Business School and an MA in International Studies (with a focus on Germany) from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a long-serving member of the Wharton Alumni Club of the UK committee. He lives in Dublin, Ireland with his wife and four children.
