Bio

Andrew is a Partner at Mazars and a member of the Executive Committee. He has previosuly led the Mazars Long Island Practice. As part of the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee, he participates in the development, implementation and monitoring of the firm’s accounting and auditing procedures and policies. Andrew acts as engagement partner for clients in a variety of industries, with a concentration in real estate. Andrew is a member of the New York State Board for Public Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), for which he is the former Chair of the Joint Trial Board, a former member of the Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC), the former Chair of the Accounting and Review Services Committee (ARSC), and a former member of the Reliability Task Force. Andrew is also a member of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, for which he is the former Chair of the Audit Committee, a former member of the Quality Enhancement Policy Committee, a former member of the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee, past Chair of the Accounting and Review Services Committee, a former member of the editorial board for The CPA Journal, past President of the Nassau Chapter and former member of both the Professional Ethics Committee and former Chair of the Accounting and Auditing Procedures Committee of the Nassau Chapter. He is also a former board member, Treasurer and Audit Committee Chair of the American Red Cross of Nassau County. Andrew is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Nassau County Rent Guidelines Board as an Owners’ Representative, an advisory board member of the LIU Post School of Professional Accountancy, and an Executive Advisory Board member of the St. John’s University’s Department of Accounting and Taxation. Andrew is a contributor to The CPA Journal. His published articles have addressed Recent Developments in Compilation and Review Standards, New SSARS, and Standards for Compilation and Review Engagements. He has also been a discussion leader and lecturer for continuing education programs for the Foundation for Accounting Education. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Massachusetts. Andrew received his BA in Accounting from Queens College, City University of New York.
