John Jacobs has over 25 years of investment banking experience with a focus on capital raising and providing advisory services to emerging growth companies, primarily in the European software and technology-enabled services sectors. Prior to joining Marks Baughan, Mr. Jacobs was Managing Director in the Global Industrials Group and European Head of Technology Investment Banking for HSBC Bank plc where he was responsible for leading HSBC's coverage of European Technology sector. Mr. Jacobs was previously Managing Director of the Technology Group and Head of Coverage, European IT Services, Software and Internet Infrastructure at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Jacobs is an active angel investor, bringing his experience and advice to a range of early stage companies. Mr. Jacobs received his BA from The University of Michigan, an MA in International Studies from University of Vienna, and his MBA from the Ross School of Business Administration at The University of Michigan.
