Kirk Cozine joined Lazard Middle Market in 2007 and is its Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He has more than 25 years of experience in securities and corporate law. Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Cozine spent more than a dozen years as an Associate and then Partner in the Corporate group of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where his practice covered a wide range of corporate and securities law matters. Following his time at Dorsey & Whitney, Mr. Cozine spent two years as an Associate Counsel at Residential Funding Company, LLC (GMAC-RFC), a real estate financing subsidiary of GMAC LLC, supporting its Asset Management group. Mr. Cozine holds a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Princeton University. He is a member of the Minnesota bar.
