Mr. Romine is a Managing Director at KippsDeSanto focused on maximizing clients’ corporate liquidity and investment alternatives. As an investment banker with over twenty years of experience, Mr. Romine has advised on over 60 M&A and finance transactions. Mr. Romine was honored as a 2012 Finalist for the ACG/M&A Advisor Dealmaker of the Year Award and advised on the 2012 Middle Market Deal of the Year. He has advised Fortune 500 corporations, middle-market public companies and privately held businesses; and, he has led several cross-border transactions with European and Canadian companies. Mr. Romine’s experience includes leadership roles in the investment banking divisions at FBR, Houlihan Lokey Aerospace·Defense·Government industry group and Jefferies Quarterdeck. Mr. Romine began his investment banking career with Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Romine earned his M.B.A. from Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in accounting from Morehouse College, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Mr. Romine is a past Director and Chairman of the audit committee of a public company and is a current Director of D.C. Action for Children, a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to positively changing the lives of Washington, D.C.’s children.
