Jorge Solares-Parkhurst is a Managing Director in JMP Securities’ financial services investment banking group. Prior to joining JMP, Jorge had been a Director in the global financial institutions group at Credit Suisse, where he worked with U.S. specialty lenders and regional banks. He previously served as a Managing Director at FBR Capital Markets and a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Jorge began his career in PaineWebber’s investment banking division, remaining with the firm following its acquisition by UBS and concluding his tenure there as a Director in the financial institutions group for the Americas. Jorge holds a BSFS in international economics from The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
