Forrest Koenig is a Managing Director in JMP Securities’ investment banking group and is Head of Convertible & Equity-Linked Capital Markets. Prior to joining JMP Securities in 2015, Forrest was a Managing Director in the equity-linked origination group at Piper Jaffray, focusing on the origination and structuring of convertible and equity-linked securities offerings for eight years. Forrest started at Piper Jaffray in 2004 as a quantitative risk analyst on the convertible sales and trading desk, where he concentrated on valuation, modeling and credit analysis. He began his Wall Street career at Citigroup Smith Barney. Forrest holds a BA in economics with minors in math and physics from the University of California, San Diego. He is a chartered financial analyst.
