Bio

Mr. Rosenberg is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Board Advisory Services and Opinions practice, and he serves on the Financial and Valuation Advisory Executive Committee. His primary responsibilities include providing investment banking, board advisory, valuation, and transaction opinion services. Mr. Rosenberg has over 25 years of experience advising public and private clients on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and capital raising; assessing strategic alternatives; and addressing complex corporate governance issues in a variety of industries. He is based in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Rosenberg’s clients have included American Airlines; Clear Channel Outdoor; Eastman Kodak; LUKOIL; Veolia Environnement; R1 RCM; Athene Holding; Eaton Vance; FGL Holdings; GE Capital; Bojangles’, Inc.; Carrols Restaurant Group; Inspire Brands; KAYAK Software; Orbitz; Travelport; Abercrombie & Fitch; Tory Burch; and numerous SPACs, including Apollo Strategic Growth Capital II; Freedom Acquisition I Corp.; Pine Technology Acquisition Corp.; Reinvent Technology Partners Y; Rotor Acquisition Corp.; Sandbridge X2 Corp.; and Virgin Group Acquisition Corp. II, among others. Mr. Rosenberg frequently speaks at the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a Principal at Indigo Ventures, a merchant bank focused on growth equity investments, where he sourced, structured, and negotiated investments in the technology, healthcare, media, and specialty manufacturing industries. Earlier, Mr. Rosenberg was a Vice President with McFarland Dewey & Co., a boutique investment bank focused on M&A advisory services. He began his career as a member of JPMorgan Chase’s investment bank, completing transactions in the leveraged finance and M&A groups. In 2014, he was named a “40 Under 40” winner by The M&A Advisor magazine. Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the board of directors of the Prospect Park Alliance, a nonprofit organization that oversees the day-to-day operations and long-term stewardship of Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Mr. Rosenberg holds a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University and MBAs from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and London Business School.
