Bio

Mr. McElhenney is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Aerospace•Defense•Government practice. His expertise includes sellside and buyside M&A advisory, corporate divestitures, and fairness opinions. Mr. McElhenney is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. McElhenney has focused his investment banking efforts exclusively in the aerospace and defense sectors and has advised on more than 30 transactions. Representative transactions include the sale Insitu, Inc. to The Boeing Company; the sale of Heath Tecna to Zodiac Aerospace; the sale of PECO, Inc. to Astronics Corp.; the sale of CDL Systems to Lockheed Martin; the sale of Intelligent Automation Systems to Honeywell Inc.; the sale of Cloud Cap Technology to Goodrich Corp.; and the sale of Opinicus Corp. to Textron Corp. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. McElhenney was a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Honeywell Aerospace. Earlier in his career, he served in the U.S. Army as a logistics officer. Mr. McElhenney received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Montana and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
