Mr. Popehn is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He is based in the firm’s Minneapolis office. Mr. Popehn’s notable transactions include Garrett Motion, Inc., RentPath, LATAM Airlines Group, Peabody Energy, Aceto Corp., Catalyst Paper Corp., Westinghouse, American Airlines, the city of Detroit, Verso Corp., Appvion, Walter Energy, Foresight Energy, Hutchinson Technology Corp., Hawker-Beechcraft, the Las Vegas Monorail, Capmark Financial Group, Smurfit-Stone, SemGroup, Movie Gallery, Inc., and Radnor Holdings Corp. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Popehn was a Financial Analyst in the Flash products and information technology groups at Intel Corp. Mr. Popehn holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
