Bio

Mr. Hogan has advised clients on a wide variety of assignments including acquisitions, divestitures, going private transactions, fairness opinions, strategic advisory, public debt and equity offerings, and private placements. He has completed transactions in a variety of industries including building products, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, and business and consumer services. Prior to joining Harris Williams, Mr. Hogan served in the mergers and acquisitions group of Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. and Wheat First Union (now Wachovia Securities). His previous experience also includes service as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, leading engineering and combat systems divisions on several ships deployed in overseas operations. Mr. Hogan earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy. While at Darden, Mr. Hogan received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence.
