Bio

Mr. Harris is a managing director and co-founder of Harris Williams. Since co-founding the firm in 1991, he has worked with his partners to build the firm into a leading global investment bank specializing in M&A advisory services. With more than 30 years of transactional experience, Mr. Harris continues to provide strong leadership across the firm, exemplifying and upholding the guiding principles on which the firm was founded. Mr. Harris earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, with distinction, and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, cum laude. He is active in the community shown through current and past involvement on various boards including Hampden-Sydney College, Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, University of Richmond, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Foundation. Mr. Harris currently serves on the Board of NewMarket Corporation.
