Bio

Mr. Wang is a managing director leading the firm's platform in Asia. Mr. Wang began his investment banking career in 2001 with Lazard in their Consumer & Retail investment banking group in New York. Since then he has advised clients on a variety of mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments, as well as equity and debt financings. He has extensive cross-border M&A experience having been based in New York, London, and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Harris Williams, Mr. Wang was a managing director with Citi. First based in London within Citi's EMEA Consumer & Retail investment banking group, then subsequently relocating to Hong Kong in 2013 with the firm. Most recently, he led Citi's Asia Pacific Consumer & Retail investment banking business with a significant focus on sourcing and executing U.S./Asia and Europe/Asia cross border transactions. A native of San Francisco, Mr. Wang graduated from New York University Stern Undergraduate School of Business in 2001 with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing.
