Mr. Kelleher is a managing director with Harris Williams who works across all of the firm’s Industry Groups to deepen our relationships within the private equity community. Mr. Kelleher has a distinguished 25 year career focused on M&A advisory and sponsor coverage. Prior to joining Harris Williams, he was managing director and head of investment banking at BB&T Capital Markets. Before assuming that role in 2015, Mr. Kelleher was head of financial sponsors at BB&T, a group he formed in 2008. While with BB&T, Mr. Kelleher led an effort that closed over 140 transactions for more than 100 financial sponsors. Prior to joining BB&T, Mr. Kelleher was an investment banker with Raymond James and Wells Fargo. He earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a B.S. from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
