Bio

Brian Bolster is a managing director and head of Natural Resources Investment Banking (Americas). Selected transaction experience includes advising SunPower on its spin off of Maxeon, National Grid on its acquisition of WPD and sale of Narragansett Electric, Centrica on its sale of Direct Energy, Pattern on its sale to CPPIB, CenterPoint on its acquisition of Vectren, Dominion on the sale of its ownership in Blue Racer Midstream, ISquared on its sale of Lincoln Clean Energy, CPPIB on it acquisition of Cordelio Power, Fortis on its acquisition of ITC, NextEra on the IPO of NextEra Energy Partners, Dynegy on its acquisition of selected generating assets from Duke, FirstWind on its sale to SunEdison/TerraForm, E.on on its sale of LG&E to PPL, John Deere on its sale of John Deere Renewables to Exelon, KKR and TPG on their acquisition of TXU, Goldman Sachs on its sale of HorizonWind to EDP, Covanta on its acquisition of American Ref-Fuel, Texas Genco on its sale to NRG Energy and Orion Power on its sale to Reliant Resources. Brian joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 and was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2012. Brian received both a BA in Government (1994) and a JD/ MBA (1999) from Georgetown University.
