Nick Golding founded Golding & Company in 2012, after 22 years of experience as an investment banker at several leading Wall Street firms. Prior to Golding & Company, Nick was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray in New York for six years and headed the firm’s Financial Technology and Services practice. Previously, Nick was with Credit Suisse (formerly DLJ) in New York for six years, where he was responsible for the firm’s Financial Technology investment banking initiatives. Prior to that he was with Citigroup (formerly Salomon Brothers) in New York and San Francisco, where he spent 10 years serving clients in the financial services, technology and financial technology sectors. Nick has extensive M&A advisory and capital markets transaction experience, having completed more than 70 M&A advisory and financing transactions totaling in excess of $35 billion in deal value. Nick received his B.A. (Hons) from Queen’s University. He was a board member of Santa Barbara Tax Products Group until its sale to Green Dot in 2014. He currently serves on the board of the Good Neighbours’ Club, a not-for-profit serving the homeless in Toronto.
