Herbert Werle is a Managing Director at goetzpartners in Freienbach/Zurich. He is responsible for the Swiss goetzpartners operations. He is also a member of the goetzpartners Corporate Finance IT-team. Dr Werle has extensive knowledge of the IT-industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has an excellent network and access to the top management of various IT companies. Within the IT industry, Herbert Werle has completed an MBO, an IPO and has enjoyed success in numerous buy- and sell-side transactions. Before joining goetzpartners, Dr Werle served as the CEO of AC-Service, an international IT service company, for 17 years. It was thanks to him that the company became listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Before this, he worked for Hewlett Packard in sales and finance positions and with Sperry Corporation in the internal auditing division. Dr Werle studied at the University of St. Gallen and at the Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris. He holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen.
